Joshua Roper

Joshua Roper currently serves as the Director of the Generation EAM Program and the Director of FERC & NERC Compliance at Evergy, a position held since June 2018. Prior to this role, Joshua Roper worked at Kansas City Power & Light from July 2006 to June 2018, where responsibilities included Director of NERC Implementation & Operations and Senior Manager of the CIP Program. Joshua Roper has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, particularly in transitioning NERC CIP protocols, as well as implementing market strategies and operational changes for integrated markets. Joshua Roper holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems from Washburn University.
