Jakob Gericke

Jakob Gericke currently serves as the Head of the LTSA Technical Department at MAN Energy Solutions since November 2020. Prior to this role, Jakob held the position of Superintendent at D/S Norden A/S from October 2011 to November 2020, where responsibilities included ensuring vessel safety and tradeability through service arrangements and compliance with regulations. Jakob's maritime career began at Maersk Supply Service, where roles progressed from 3rd Engineer to Chief Engineer from August 1998 to September 2011, focusing on vessel maintenance and performance optimization. Educational qualifications include an Engineer's degree from Svendborg Maskinmesterskole (1992-1998) and a Certified Vessel Manager designation from Copenhagen College of Technology Management and Marine Engineering (2016-2018).
