Marco Iannello has a diverse work experience in the field of IT support and operations. Marco began their career as a Help Desk Specialist at Team Technology Services c/o Gestioni Elettroniche in 2009, where they supported multiple clients and acted as a main contact for field engineers. Marco then worked as an Incident Manager, providing support during the sick leave of the Service Desk Leader.
In 2012, Marco joined Evernex as an IT Support Center Dispatcher and Warehouse Manager for the Italian division. Marco was responsible for customer escalations, logistics, and part deliveries. Marco then moved on to become a Support Center Dispatcher for Europe & West Africa, interacting with clients from different countries and languages.
Marco's roles at Evernex continued to evolve, and they eventually became the Operations Manager for the Middle East & Africa region. In this position, they managed a team and ensured the proper maintenance and management of data center and IT hardware investments, while providing excellent service to clients.
Their most recent role at Evernex is Operations Director for the Middle East & Africa region, where they continue to lead a team and handle the full incident management process, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver outstanding service to clients.
Marco Iannello attended Liceo Scientifico Statale Ettore Majorana. Marco has obtained several certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org, Agile SCRUM Foundation from ITSM Zone, Business Fundamentals from edX, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from ITSM Zone, IT Project Management from edX, and ITIL® Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in July 2020).
