Valerie Hampe

Valerie Hampe has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Consultant for the company Fauna Inc. During this role, they migrated the company's internal chat system and developed a Scala-based authentication proxy for FaunaDB. Valerie then worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Fauna Inc. from 2015 to 2018, where they designed and built a Spark-based analytics solution for usage-based billing.

In 2018, Valerie joined Metromile as a Software Engineer in ProdOps, where they led the adoption of Datadog for monitoring and integrated it with the company's applications and servers.
