Martin Samm

Martin Samm is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at EverQuote since October 2024, Martin has previously held positions including Senior Director of Software Engineering at Payroc and Senior Engineering Manager at Rapid7. At Rapid7, Martin focused on team leadership and platform development while managing multiple engineering teams. Prior experience includes roles at CVS Caremark Corporation as a Lead Developer and at Fidessa as a Development Team Leader, with a strong foundation in cloud technologies such as AWS and database administration. Martin holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Maths & Stats from The University of Manchester.
