Jessica Ludwig

Jessica Ludwig has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role is as an Associate Scientist at Eversight since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant III at the NATIONAL PRION DISEASE PATH SURVEILLANCE CENTER starting in July 2020. Between 2016 and 2020, Jessica held two research positions, first as a Research Assistant II at Case Western Reserve University, where they focused on dermatology research, and then as a Research Technician at Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, where they worked in microglia imaging.

Before their research roles, Jessica was a Provost Fellow at Loyola Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program, where they conducted behavioral neuroscience research from September 2014 to June 2016. Jessica also served as a Student Mentor in the Achieving College Excellence program from April 2015 to May 2016, providing support and resources to first-generation undergraduate students.

Jessica has experience outside of the research field as well. Jessica worked as an Event Manager in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts from September 2012 to May 2016, coordinating performances and managing a team of employees. Jessica also held the role of Front End Manager at The TJX Companies, Inc. from May 2012 to October 2015, overseeing sales and managing employees.

In addition, Jessica has experience as a Health Coach at Noom Inc. from March 2014 to September 2015, where they supported members in achieving their health goals and collaborated with other coaches to improve techniques.

Jessica Ludwig has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Neuroscience, and Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016. Jessica later pursued a Master of Science degree in Regenerative Medicine from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, completing their studies between 2018 and 2021. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jessica also obtained a certification in Biohazard and Dry Ice Shipping from DOT/IATA in June 2016.
