Senior Product and Test Engineer at Everspin Technologies

Hui Lu began their career in 2008 as a Research Scholar at the Data Storage Institute. In 2009, they took on the roles of Laboratory Demonstrator and Teaching Assistant at the National University of Singapore. In 2012, they became a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, where they explored novel magnetic materials for MTJ application. Her achievements included successfully achieving novel Heusler alloy thin film and utilizing it in MTJ structure. In 2014, they moved to United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) as a Specialty Technology Development Staff Engineer, developing embedded NOR flash memory on 55/40 nm platform. Finally, in 2016, they joined Everspin Technologies as a Senior Product and Test Engineer, where they developed DDR3 and DDR4 standalone STT-MRAM product via collaboration with their foundry partner. Her job scope included MTJ device analysis, memory array test debug, memory array characterization, thin film development support and process yield improvement.

Hui Lu attended Nanjing University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Hui then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the National University of Singapore, which they completed in 2012.
