Dave Carlson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of creative direction and design. Dave has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

Dave started their career in 2001 as an Experience Designer at Emercent Solutions, where they focused on web design and branding strategies. In 2003, they joined SWIMMER - Integrated Marketing by Design, Inc. as a Sr. Designer/Project Manager, where they continued to develop their design and project management skills.

In 2005, Dave became an Art Director at Queue Brand Communications, where they managed a team of designers and worked on marketing channels such as shopper marketing, web campaigns, identity systems, and packaging. During their time at Queue, they worked with national brands such as Mrs. Fields and Weber.

In 2013, they joined OfficeMax as a Sr. Graphic Designer, where they created impactful in-store messaging, directed photo shoots, and crafted shopper marketing solutions. Dave also worked on out-of-home advertising and social media messaging.

In 2014, Dave became an Associate Creative Director at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they led a team in developing consumer-facing communications for brands such as Sears and Kmart. Dave also participated in staffing and hiring contractors for the agency.

From 2016 to 2019, Dave worked at RR Donnelley as a Creative Director, overseeing a team of designers, writers, developers, and art directors. Dave managed various marketing projects for Ace Hardware, including integrated marketing promotions, responsive web and mobile design, social media marketing, and video projects.

In 2019, Dave joined Wunderman Thompson Commerce as a Digital ACD, leading a creative team for Unilever brands. Dave oversaw shopper marketing creative for brands such as Dove and Suave, and ensured digital quality control for shopper marketing activations.

Currently, Dave is working at Everspring Inc. as a Creative Director, where they bring their expertise to the role.

Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated their ability to lead creative teams, manage projects, and deliver impactful designs for national brands. Dave has a strong background in integrated marketing campaigns, digital design, and branding strategies.

Dave Carlson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from Bradley University between 1994 and 1998.
