Alen Ismic

Alen Ismic has a strong background in DevOps engineering and network security. Alen is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at everstox since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a DevOps AWS Engineer at Valens.dev starting from August 2021. In 2019, Alen co-founded SCE Technology. Alen also has experience as a DevOps Consultant at A+E Networks from May 2018 to November 2022, and as a DevOps Engineer at Evolt from July 2018 to June 2022. Before entering the DevOps field, Alen worked as a Network and Security Engineer at Emerging Markets Consultants from July 2014 to July 2018. Alen also had a freelance developer role from January 2013 to January 2017, and worked as a Network engineer project manager and Software Developer at Infologic d.o.o. Sarajevo from November 2012 to March 2014.

Alen Ismic holds a Master's degree in Computing & Informatics from the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computing & Informatics from the same institution, completing their studies from 2010 to 2014. Alen Ismic's education journey began in 2006 when they completed their High School education at Gymnasium, Sarajevo. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including CIS Mac Edition, Centrify Identity Service, Centrify Platform Competency, Centrify Privilege Service, Centrify Server Suite, ArcSight ESM Security Analyst (AESA), TippingPoint Advanced Technical Security Products, Trend Micro TippingPoint IPS Expert, Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos), Technical Certification - SaaS Competency, Technical Certification - Server Competency, Ruckus WiSE Level 1 Certification, F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator, Ruckus Sales Expert Certification Exam (REx), and HP Accredited Technical Professional TippingPoint Security V1. Moreover, Alen Ismic plans to obtain an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in 2023.
