Dereck Wischmeyer

Dereck Wischmeyer, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, is responsible for all legal, regulatory, insurance and real estate affairs across all markets. Dereck brings 15 years of experience, including legal and leadership positions which provide him in-depth knowledge of the telecom industry. Prior to joining Everstream in 2019, Dereck served as Government Relations Counsel with Crown Castle and Associate General Counsel with Lightower. He also has held various legal positions within privately held companies specializing in real estate financing, acquisition and disposition as well as mergers and acquisitions. Dereck holds a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University in Economics where he was also a captain of the university’s men’s swim team, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law and a Master of Laws from the University of Miami School of Law.
