Our offerings range from high-stakes professional services (incident response, incidence response preparedness, and more) to a comprehensive suite of insurance products, providing industry leaders with coverage against losses stemming from custody solutions, mining property loss, smart contract failure, slashing losses, theft, and much more. 

We are seeking a Junior Risk Analyst to join our dynamic, industry-leading team of crypto-native experts. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for crypto/blockchain and a background in cyber security or risk management to contribute to groundbreaking work helping shape the future of risk management and insurance in the digital asset ecosystem. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize cyber security and risk management expertise to assist the insurance team on complex risks, helping the insurance team understand attack vectors, evaluate risks, and price specific coverages.

  • Assist our professional services team on ad hoc engagements related to cyber-security threats, cyber-security and other breach incident response initiatives, penetration testing, and more.

  • Work with the operations team to provide analytical support and enhance operational efficiency, internal processes and procedures, and risk and security controls.

The ideal candidate would possess: 

  • Background in risk management or cyber security preferred, with the proven ability to evaluate, explain, and help mitigate risks effectively.

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in cyber-security, risk management, blockchain security, or a related field. New graduates with relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Strong interest in and knowledge of the crypto/blockchain space, with a demonstrated understanding of key concepts and industry trends.

  • Experience in data analysis and modeling preferred, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Technical background a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.

  • Located in the Chicago area preferred, but open to remote candidates with the ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual environment.

Compensation: 

  • Salary range of $75,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
