Maria E. Alvarado-Lopez

Maria E. Alvarado-Lopez, PMP, CSM, is a seasoned professional in project portfolio management with significant experience in leading teams and managing complex projects. Currently serving as the Project Portfolio Management Sr. Manager at Evertec since June 2015, Maria has held various leadership roles including Manager of the Portfolio Management Office and System Development Projects Manager. Prior to Evertec, Maria worked as a Test Content Author for TeckChek and Development Manager at IT Developers Group, where responsibility included overseeing software development projects utilizing Agile methodologies. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Programmer Analyst at Triple-S Propiedad and as a Programmer at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, where critical in-house solutions were developed and implemented. Maria holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon, obtained in 1997.
