Wil Gatlin

Wil Gatlin has had an extensive career in the technology industry. Wil began their career in 2007 as a Freelance Producer/Audio Engineer, working with artists/singers/rappers/bands in and around the Memphis area to record various projects and full lengths. In 2010, they worked as a Program Consultant for the Memphis Music Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to advancing musicians and music related business through a DIY approach. In 2012, they were an Audio Engineer and jack of all trades for the American Queen Steamboat Company, refurbishing and rewiring old light and sound systems across the boat while it was docked in New Orleans. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Sr. Full Stack Developer and Web Application Developer for Cook Systems, Inc. and Archer Malmo, respectively. During this time, they won four Gold American Advertising Awards for an Augmented Reality project. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Full Stack Developer for otto, co-creating early products such as Ad Quality Scanner, Network Display Graph, and Yield Dashboards. Wil then worked as a Sr. Full Stack Developer and Full Stack / Mobile Developer for REPAY - Realtime Electronic Payments, developing a loan repayment mobile app that utilizes Repay’s electronic payment pipeline and allowing customers to track and pay their balances in real time. Wil is currently a Full Stack / Mobile Developer for EverWash.

Wil Gatlin received a Bachelor of Music from The University of Memphis and is self-educated in Software Engineering.
