Rui Xiao

Rui Xiao started their work experience in 2012 at Azigo, Inc. as a Software Engineer. They then moved on to Gemvara, where they worked as a Software Engineer from October 2012 to August 2014. At Gemvara, they built jewelry customization pages and worked on content management systems. In 2014, Rui joined AOL as a Software Engineer and worked on projects such as the Demand Side Platform UI, where they enhanced and consolidated the campaign management system. They also worked on the Private Deals Project, adding a private deals feature on AOL's One advertising platform. In 2017, Rui joined Everwise as a Front-end Software Engineer, where they developed the core product - an online-learning, mentoring software. They built features like survey builder, content editor, and reporting using front end technologies like Type Flow, Redux, ReactJS, and libraries like lodash/fp.

Rui Xiao completed their Bachelor's degree in E-Commerce Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems from Northeastern University between 2008 and 2010.
