Nicole Madden has extensive work experience in the legal field, primarily in the sports and media industries. Nicole began their career as a Paralegal at Radiant Law Limited, specializing in commercial contracts. From there, they worked as a Legal Counsel at The Football Association, advising on a range of issues and drafting legal documents. Nicole then joined Bird & Bird as a Trainee Solicitor, where they focused on sports law and had a secondment to The FA and England 2015. Following this, Madden worked as a Junior Legal Counsel at England 2015, managing commercial, IP, and brand protection matters. Nicole also had a part-time secondment as a Legal Counsel for the Volvo Ocean Race, advising on legal matters related to the event. Madden then became an Associate at TSC Legal, where they advised on commercial matters for various agreements. Nicole later held the positions of Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Legal at Digital UK and Freeview, providing legal advice and managing legal requirements. Nicole currently holds the position of Head of Legal at Freesat. Overall, Madden has a strong background in legal counsel and has experience in various aspects of commercial and sports law.
