Whitney Power has worked in various roles in the fields of product marketing, project management, public relations, and online marketing since 2007.

In 2007, they were an Online Marketing Intern at the Austin American-Statesman, where they employed Search Engine Optimization strategies, planned and organized a High School Football online marketing campaign, and designed a customer feedback survey for Statesman Shopping product.

In 2008, they were a Public Relations Assistant/Intern at McGarrah Jessee (WebberMcJ), where they spearheaded a social media client strategy, worked with partner advertising agency on client publicity strategy, and designed and updated monthly PR activity reports.

In 2009, they worked at both Philips Lighting and Ascension. At Philips Lighting, they managed local media relations, produced regional newsletters, edited news releases, and marketing materials, and was a liaison between Phillips public relations firm and industrial lighting MarCom office. Whitney also wrote a training manual for new employees. At Ascension, they were a Project Manager, Virtual Care and Innovation, where they trained 50+ physician and hospital team members across 6 hospitals on technology and processes for Tele-Neonatology remote consultation program, created workflows, billing and documentation processes to support the program, and trained 100+ call center representatives, care team members and physicians at 10 clinic locations in Austin and Waco on telemedicine technology for Urgent Care Digital Clinic program. Whitney was also a Project Manager, Innovation & Technology Commercialization, where they built an innovation team project portfolio dashboard, employee patent idea submission and decision system with dashboard, startup vendor submission and evaluation system with automatic scoring, executive committee action alerts and dashboard, planned, raised funds for, and operated 3 Spark! Technology and Innovation trade shows attended by 30+ vendors and 500+ employees annually, and led AppScript IT evaluation and pilot project. Additionally, they were a Senior Project Coordinator, Research, Seton, where they edited, authored posts for Research Enterprise weekly internal news and intranet page content, edited employee researcher manuscripts for academic journal publication, and co-edited and authored blog posts for Lone Star Stroke Research Consortium. Finally, they were a Network Clinical Education - Senior Department Assistant, where they reported to Director of Clinical Education and Professional Development, planned and facilitated cross departmental meetings and events, and produced activity reports, presentations, flyers, web content, and course materials.

In 2018, they were a Project Manager at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, where they led a collaborative team to plan, design, build, test, and deploy Referral Management program and supporting software. Whitney also gathered stakeholder requirements, wrote and managed Request for Proposals, led vendor selection process, created program training materials, operational policies, and trained staff to new referral management workflows. Additionally, they managed MIPS Quality Initiative alongside specialty clinics and medical school Quality Director.

Finally, in 2019, they became the Director of Product Marketing at Everyware.

Whitney Power attained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration, Management and Operations (Healthcare) from Western Governors University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Texas State University between 2004 and 2008. In October 2015, they obtained the Smartsheet Expert Certification from Smartsheet.
