James Maxwell

James Maxwell has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. James currently holds the position of Flight Test Operations Manager at Eviation Aircraft since July 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Flight Test Engineer at Eviation Aircraft from March 2021 to July 2021. Prior to joining Eviation Aircraft, James had a long tenure at Bombardier Aerospace, where they served as a Senior/Lead Flight Test Engineer from August 2012 to March 2021. James also worked as a Reliability, Maintainability and Safety Engineer at Bombardier Aerospace from August 2008 to December 2012. Additionally, James started their career as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at DRS Technologies Canada Ltd from March 2007 to August 2007.

James Maxwell obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Carleton University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In August 2018, they also obtained the FAA Class 3 Medical certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
