Steven Minton

Chairman at Evid Science

Steven Minton is the current chairman at Evid Science and has over 20 years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence. Steven has also been a president, founder, managing editor, and member of various organizations and companies.

Minton started their career as a research associate professor and project leader at the USC Information Sciences Institute. Steven then became a principal investigator at the NASA Ames Research Center where they worked for seven years. After that, they co-founded Fetch Technologies and was its chairman for 12 years. In 2010, they founded Innotrieve and served as its chairman for six years. In 2016, they became the chairman of Evid Science, which they are currently still presiding over.

Throughout their career, Minton has made significant contributions to the field of artificial intelligence. Steven is the founder and executive editor of the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research, and has published multiple papers on the subject. Steven is also a member of the LA CTO Forum, where they provide help to startups and VCs as an informal technical adviser or consultant. In addition, they have won numerous awards for their work in the field of artificial intelligence, including the AAAI Feigenbaum Prize and the IJCAI Computers and Thought Award.

Steven Minton has a B.A. from Yale University in Psychology and a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in Computer Science.
