Fred Mpala

Fred Mpala is the Chief Security Officer at Evidation Health. Prior to joining Evidation, Fred served as Product Cyber Security at Roche from February 2019 to February 2022. Before Roche, they were with Standard Chartered Bank as Information and Cyber Security from March 2015 to January 2019.

Fred started their career in Information Security with NYSE Euronext from January 2011 to December 2014. Fred then moved on to Goldman Sachs where they spent a year in Audit from November 2010 to October 2011. After Goldman Sachs, Fred worked at Societe Generale in Information Security from November 2008 to November 2010.

From September 2006 to October 2008, Fred was with Thomson Reuters Markets in Information Security. Fred also spent some time at Barnfield Technology Centre as Cisco (CCNA) Networking Instructor/Open University T228 Tutor from August 2006 to February 2008.

IS was their first role and they were with DSGi Plc from June 2005 to June 2006.

Fred Mpala's educational career is quite impressive. Fred has a Master of Arts in International Affairs from King's College London, a Doctorate in Information Security from the University of East London, an MSc in Information Security and Computer Forensics from the University of East London, and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Networking from the University of Bedfordshire. Fred also has a GDL in Law from BPP Law School, an Executive Education Blue Ocean Strategy from INSEAD, and an LLM in Computer and Communications Law from Queen Mary University of London. In addition, they have various certifications from EC-Council, IAPP, ISACA, (ISC)², and BSI.

They are on a team with Scott Bechtler - Levin - SVP, Health Programs Business, Raymond Cosey - Chief Financial Officer, and Matt Butner - VP Engineering. Their manager is Deborah Kilpatrick, Co-CEO & Executive Chair.
