Jiwon Jeon

Jiwon Jeon is an experienced data scientist currently employed at Maven Wave, an Atos Company, since January 2022, with a prior position at Visual BI Solutions, also an Atos Company, from July 2018 to December 2021. Expertise includes data mining, modeling, and integration of models into data systems, as well as big data solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Past roles include graduate research assistant at the University of Oklahoma, where advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques were applied in oil and gas research, and graduate teaching assistant in drilling engineering. Jiwon's earlier experience as a project engineer and data analyst at STX Heavy Industries involved operations research, data management solutions, and extensive analytics in oil and gas projects. Jiwon holds Master's degrees in Data Science and Analytics and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Bio Engineering from Seoul National University.
