Shuaib Akhtar

Shuaib Akhtar is a seasoned professional in the fields of High Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and data analytics, currently serving as a Senior Solution Architect at Eviden since August 2024. Prior to this role, Shuaib worked as an HPC, AI & QC Solutions Architect at ParTec AG and at Atos, where responsibilities included designing supercomputers and IO subsystems for large-scale workloads and AI systems. Shuaib’s career also encompasses roles such as a Presales Systems Engineer at OCF, an Account Manager at IBM focusing on HPC and analytics software, and Business Development at Tessella, catering to R&D operations in scientific and engineering sectors. An early career as a Radiographic Scientist at AWE involved computation modeling for national defense programs. Shuaib holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Warwick, obtained in 2004.
