Jan Brozek

Jan Brozek has a long and varied work experience. Jan has been the Chief Scientific Officer at Evidence Prime since 2019. From 2009 to the present, they have been an Associate Professor at McMaster University, Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact. Jan has been a Member of the GRADE Working Group since 2003 and a Methodologist at the American Thoracic Society since 2010. From 2012 to the present, they have been the Deputy Editor of the American College of Physicians Journal Club. In 2011, they were a Visiting Professor (Gastwissenschaftler) at the University of Freiburg. From 1999 to 2000, they were a Lecturer and Staff Physician and Instructor at Jagiellonian University. During 2000, they were an Associate Editor at Medycyna Praktyczna. From 2006 to the present, they have been a Research Associate at IFO - Istituto Nazionale Tumori Regina Elena - Istituto Dermatologico San Gallicano.

Jan Brozek earned a MD and PhD in medicine from Jagiellonian University between 1989 and 1995. Jan also earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in the same field during this time.
