Betty Ireri

Betty Ireri has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Betty currently holds the position of Director Operations Finance at Evidera since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Evidera as an Associate Director Accounting from April 2020 to July 2022, where they completed a two-year Financial Leadership Program and managed various financial processes. Betty also served as a mentor in the same program for a two-year term. Before that, Betty was a Senior Accounting Manager at Evidera from April 2018 to March 2020, where they managed the monthly close processes and a team of Senior Accountants.

Prior to joining Evidera, Betty worked at Nasdaq from 2013 to 2018. Betty'sroles at Nasdaq include being a Legal Entity Controller, where they established the accounting function for UK legal entities, managed financial reporting, and month-end close processes for multiple ledgers. Betty also worked as an Accounting Manager, preparing financial reporting schedules and maintaining compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.

Moreover, Betty has experience working at Discovery Communications as a Lead Revenue Accountant from January 2012 to March 2013, where they prepared and inputted accruals, reclassifications, and revenue journal entries. Betty also worked as a Senior Auditor at Discovery Communications from April 2010 to December 2011.

Furthermore, Betty has previous experience at US Foods (a subsidiary of Royal Ahold) as a Supervisory Senior Auditor from April 2006 to July 2009, where they managed staff auditors, developed audit programs, and redesigned the standard audit plan. Betty also worked at Royal Ahold as a Staff Internal Auditor from May 2004 to April 2006.
