Heather Burnett has diverse work experience across various organizations. Heather began their career in 2008 at the University of Guelph as an Undergraduate Laboratory Coordinator. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at The Hospital for Sick Children as a Project Coordinator for Technology Assessment. In 2013, they joined Mapi Group: Health Research & Commercialization as a Research Associate in HEOR & Strategic Market Access and later became a Senior Research Associate. In 2015, they were promoted to the role of Research Manager until 2017. In 2017, they joined Evidera as a Research Scientist and held various positions, including Research Scientist & Director of Evidence Synthesis, Modeling & Communication, and currently serves as both a Senior Research Scientist & Senior Director. Their expertise spans research, project coordination, and leadership roles in the healthcare and research industries.
Heather Burnett completed their MSc in Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation from the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued their MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Guelph from 2006 to 2008.
