Wietse Schmitt

Wietse Schmitt has had extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Wietse has worked at various companies in different roles.

From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Supportdesk Medewerker at KPN Corporate Market. Following that, they worked as a Helpdesk medewerker at @Home from February 2003 to December 2003.

In 2005, they joined DigiNotar B.V. as a Systeem-/Applicatiebeheerder, where they stayed until February 2012. Wietse then worked at Morpho as an Applicatiebeheerder from February 2012 to February 2013.

From October 2012 to March 2015, they worked at De Keizer Marine Engineering BV as a Systeem / Applicatiebeheer.

Currently, they are employed at Evidos, starting in March 2015. Wietse has held multiple roles at Evidos, including Technisch Consultant from March 2015 to June 2017, Cloud Operations Engineer from June 2017 to June 2020, and their current role as the Information Technology Team Lead starting from June 2020.

Wietse Schmitt's education history begins with their completion of the MAVO program at Petrus Canisius College in Alkmaar from 1994 to 1998, earning him a diploma. Wietse then attended Petrus Canisius College again from 1998 to 1999 but did not attain their diploma. Following this, they enrolled at Horizon College in Alkmaar from 1999 to 2001 and successfully obtained a diploma in IT, focusing on the level 3 program. Subsequently, they continued their education at Horizon College from 2001 to 2003, completing the level 4 program in IT and receiving a Diploma Behaald. Lastly, in 2003 and 2004, Wietse attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences for the HBO program in Interactieve Media, although they did not specify if they earned a degree.
