Josie Ashby

Josie Ashby currently serves as the Regional Head of Renewables for the Middle East at Surbana Jurong Group since July 2024 and is a member of the Leadership Team at Women of Electric Vehicles. From June 2021, Josie has contributed to Evie Networks in Growth and Strategic Partnerships roles, while previously holding the position of Director in the Office of the CEO at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency from January 2019 to June 2021. Josie's earlier career includes various advisory roles for the Hon Julie Bishop MP from 2013 to 2018, and the position of Electorate Officer for Hon Julie Bishop MP during 2012-2013. Josie began the professional journey as a Paralegal at CITIC Pacific Mining and the Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA) Inc. in 2011-2012. Educationally, Josie earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Sydney Business School and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Notre Dame Australia, along with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
