Kate Matlen-Remer

Kate Matlen-Remer currently serves as Chief Compliance Officer & Assistant General Counsel at Evio since October 2023. Previously, Kate held roles as Assistant Corporate Secretary and Senior Director of Corporate Governance Counsel at VSP Vision from May 2022 to October 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant General Counsel for Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Tax at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan from May 2019 to April 2022, and as Staff Counsel for Corporate Affairs at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from November 2016 to May 2019. Additionally, Kate worked as Corporate Counsel at Key Safety Systems, Inc. from April 2015 to November 2016 and as an Associate Attorney at Maddin, Hauser, Roth & Heller, PC from September 2012 to March 2015. Kate Matlen-Remer earned a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Michigan, along with a high school diploma from The Roeper School.
