Jj Vidanez

JJ Vidanez has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. JJ started their career as an IT System Admin for various IT companies in 1998. JJ then worked as a System Administrator for Telefónica from 2000 to 2002. JJ also worked as an Implementation Engineer at IOBOX, a member of the Telefonica Group. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Support Services Engineer at Sun Microsystems. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Senior Unix System Administrator at everis. At SOLUCIONS, S.A., they held the position of Consultant Technical Senior from 2007 to 2011, where they specialized in infrastructure solutions and project management. JJ then joined BetVictor as a Virtualization Senior Architect, designing and implementing virtualized environments. At AsianLogic, they took on multiple roles, including Sysops Team Lead, Virtualization Technical Lead, and Senior System Engineer. In 2022, they joined EVO Payments, Inc. as a Senior Lead Engineer in Enterprise Architecture/Infrastructure. Currently, they are working at Global Payments Inc. as an Enterprise Solution Architecture/Infrastructure Senior Technical Lead.

JJ Vidanez obtained a degree in Ingeniero de sistemas (Informatica) from Universidad de Sevilla in 1999. They also pursued an MSc. Degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Additionally, JJ Vidanez has obtained several certifications, including AWS Technical Essential Day from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Network Security Essentials from SonicWall, ITIL V3 Foundation, SAS Platform Engineer: installation and configuration from SAS, VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware, and VMware certificated engineer - VCP from VMware.
