Polina Komissarova

Polina Komissarova has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research engineering.

Polina currently works at Evocargo as a Research Engineer, starting in August 2022.

Prior to that, Polina worked at VisionLabs where they held multiple roles. Polina was a Data Scientist, specializing in improving Person Re-ID pipelines, implementing new neural network architectures, and enhancing position estimation accuracy. Polina started in January 2021 and continued until September 2021 as a Junior Data Scientist. Before that, from September 2020 to December 2020, they worked as a Data Science Intern.

Before joining VisionLabs, Polina also gained experience as a Junior Data Scientist at Tutu.ru from May 2019 to October 2019. Their responsibilities included creating machine learning models for pricing optimization and analyzing client behavior and insurance risks.

Additionally, Polina worked as a Summer Research Intern at ABBYY from April 2018 to September 2018. During this time, they developed deep learning pipelines, implemented convolutional neural networks for language recognition, and utilized various machine learning techniques for Asian handwriting style recognition.

Polina Komissarova earned their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from the years 2015 to 2021. Polina also pursued additional education at the Yandex School of Data Analysis specializing in Data Science from 2018 to 2020.
