Jeffrey Wise, MD, MBA, FACS, FAAOS, currently serves as the Chief Medical Director for Musculoskeletal and Spinal Surgery at Evolent, having begun this role in September 2025. Prior to this position, Jeffrey was the Medical Director of Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery at Sentara Health from April 2022 to September 2025, where significant contributions included developing service lines and managing a remote workforce. In addition to a role as a Healthcare Consultant at Medtronic and Wiseteam Medical Consulting, Jeffrey notably spent over 20 years as an orthopaedic surgeon at Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center, serving as Past President and managing partner. Jeffrey holds an Executive MBA from The Heller School at Brandeis University and has extensive training in orthopaedic and spinal surgery, including a Spine Fellowship from Rush Medical College.
