Tara Nelson

Tara Nelson currently serves as Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives at Evolent, leading cross-functional strategic programs and enterprise change management. With a robust background in enterprise project management, Tara has previously held positions including Senior Director of Enterprise PMO & Strategic Initiatives, where Tara scaled the PMO framework, managed a team of ten, and spearheaded key initiatives such as the integration of AI applications and large-scale business integrations. Other roles at Evolent include Director and Associate Director positions focused on portfolio management, where Tara achieved significant cost savings and standardized methodologies across departments. Prior experience includes leadership roles at the Mid-Size Bank Coalition of America and Consero Group, as well as internships in fundraising and communications. Tara holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from The George Washington University.
