Nielsen Castelo D. Dantas has had a long and varied career in the field of data science. In 2012, they began their career as a Professor at Universidade Potiguar. In 2013, they took on the role of Coordinator of Post Graduate Control Engineering and Automation at Universidade Potiguar - UnP, as well as a Professor at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. In 2016, they became the Chief Executive Officer at NCDD, and a Senior Data Scientist at Easycomm. In 2018, they took on the role of Big Data Developer at C&V Business Investment Risk LLC. In 2019, they became a Senior Data Scientist and Computer Vision Engineer at GTP Automation, and an Assistant Professor at UNINASSAU. In 2020, they became a Senior Data Scientist and Natural Programming Language Engineer at Evollo, and a Senior Data Scientist and Deep Learning Engineer at Quanttics AI.

Nielsen Castelo D. Dantas has an extensive educational background. In 2003, they completed a Computer Engineer degree from Universidade Potiguar, where they studied Automation and Control, RNA, and Artificial Intelligence. Nielsen then completed an Engineering Specialist Process Automation Gas Natural degree from Universidade Potiguar in 2007, where they studied Automation and Control using RNA, Artificial Intelligence. In 2008, they completed a Master's degree from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, where they studied Independent Component Analysis and Artificial Intelligence. In 2012, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, where they studied Clustering and Artificial Intelligence. In 2020, they completed a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Faculdade Metropolitana de São Paulo, where they studied Computer Software Engineering. Nielsen is currently completing a Pós-graduação Lato Sensu - Especialização from Faculdade Metropolitana São Paulo, where they are studying Ciência de Dados e Big Data Analytics.
