Bryan Bestvater

Head of Manufacturing at EvolOH

Bryan Bestvater has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Bryan is currently working as the Head of Manufacturing at EvolOH since April 2023. Prior to that, they spent a significant amount of time at Nuvera Fuel Cells, LLC, where they held multiple positions. From October 2018 to April 2023, they served as the Platform Leader. Before that, they worked as the Senior Program Manager from January 2014 to October 2018, and as the Manager of Product Engineering and Design Documentation from April 2013 to January 2014.

Before joining Nuvera Fuel Cells, LLC, Bryan worked at Plug Power Inc. From August 2010 to January 2013, they served as the Director of Engineering, Program Management. Prior to that, they were the Lead Engineer of GenSys Mechanical Engineering from June 2006 to August 2010.

Furthermore, they have prior experience at Emerson Industrial Automation (KVT Technologies) as a Senior Project Manager from January 2005 to June 2006.

Bryan's earliest work experience was at SiemensVDO Automotive, where they worked in various positions. Bryan served as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer from June 2003 to December 2004. From March 2000 to June 2003, they were a Program Leader and led the launch of a new facility start-up in Mexico. Bryan also held the position of Senior Manufacturing Engineer from January 1998 to March 2000, where they managed a global supply base and localized components to reduce costs. Lastly, they started their career at SiemensVDO Automotive as an Assembly Program Manager.

Overall, Bryan Bestvater has held several leadership roles and has a strong background in engineering and program management in the manufacturing industry.

Bryan Bestvater holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University. Bryan also pursued studies in Engineering/Industrial Management at Western University. In 2017, Bryan attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell where they obtained a Certificate in Project Management. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including a Six Sigma Green Belt from GBMP in October 2015, a P. Eng certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in November 1989, and a PMP certification from PMI MassBay Chapter in January 2018.
