Paola Ortega Saborio

Paola Ortega Saborio is an AI Engineer specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV) at Evolucare, actively developing innovative AI solutions for the medical field since April 2024. Previously, Paola was a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First from August 2023 to January 2024 and served as a Research Assistant at Télécom SudParis, where contributions were made to a project focused on early Parkinson’s Disease detection using CV. Experience also includes roles as a Data Science Intern at Choose, Lead Data Engineer and NLP Data Engineer at Ripeta, and a Software Development Intern at Capsifi. Additionally, Paola held a position as a Research Assistant at the University of Technology Sydney and worked as a Teacher Assistant at Universidad de Costa Rica. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Data and Artificial Intelligence from Institut Polytechnique de Paris and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Universidad de Costa Rica.
