Martin Goodson

Martin Goodson is the current Chief Scientist & CEO at Evolution AI. Prior to this, they were VP Data Science at Skimlinks from January 2014 to December 2015, where they designed the advertising data platform used by major publishers. Martin was also Head of R&D at QuBit Group from May 2012 to January 2014, where they led the team responsible for designing online personalisation systems for FTSE 100 e-commerce firms. Goodson's machine learning research has been published in the journal Nature, and they have also designed a Bayesian method for the classification of mammalian vocalisations. Prior to their work in the private sector, Goodson was a Genomics Specialist at the Human Genome Mapping Project - Medical Research Council from April 2002 to March 2004.

Martin Goodson holds a DPhil in Computational Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Sussex, as well as an MA in Philosophy and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry, both from the same university.
