Akash Goel

Akash Goel is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, where a strong belief in food as medicine drives an integrative approach to healthcare, focusing on nutrition, mindfulness, and evidence-based practices. In addition to this role, Akash serves as a Senior Advisor for Healthcare, Life Sciences & Food Tech at Evolution VC Partners, sourcing and directing investments to enhance population and planetary health. Akash also contributes as an Advisory Board Member at Health Hospitality Partners, focusing on healthcare and food service real estate development. As a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations, involvement includes addressing global issues, and Akash previously served on the board of Artists in Residence in Everglades to promote environmental appreciation through arts. Education includes a BA in Biochemistry from Harvard University and an MD from the University of Michigan Medical School, complemented by fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Miami and residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
