Gillian Vanderlee

Gillian Vanderlee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gillian worked at Evolve Biologics, starting in 2018, where they held positions as a Technical Lead - Engineering and Product Commercialization, Manager, Process Development and Commercialization, and Product Development Manager. At Evolve Biologics, they were involved in the development and commercialization of plasma protein extraction technology. Prior to Evolve Biologics, Gillian worked at Therapure Biopharma Inc from 2014 to 2018, where they held positions as a Technical Lead - Engineering and Product Commercialization, Process Engineer, Process Development Lead Hand, Process Development Specialist, and Process Development Technician. Gillian also worked as a Junior Reliability Engineer and Junior Quality Assistant at Weston Foods (Canada) Inc. Gillian's early work experience includes being a Grad Student at the University of Toronto, specifically in the Yip Lab located in the Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research.

Gillian Vanderlee completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Dalhousie University between 2006 and 2010. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters of Applied Science (MASc) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Toronto from 2011 to 2013.
