Operations Engineer - Tier 3 at Evolve IP

Michael Powell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Michael began their career at Cisco in 2008 as a Premium Service Specialist, where they provided IT support for high-level meetings and managed live tech support for Fortune 500 companies and the Postal Service. In 2015, they joined Apple as a Technical Expert, specializing in training Apple Store Technology Specialists and performing hardware repairs and diagnostics on iPhones. Michael worked at Apple until 2020. Currently, they are employed at Evolve IP, starting in 2020. At Evolve IP, they have held various roles including Technical Analyst - UCaaS, Sr. Technical Analyst - UCaaS, Tier 2 Support NSOC Technician, and currently Operations Engineer - Tier 3.

Michael Powell earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they attended De Anza College and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in History. Additionally, they have received several certifications, including a Computer Networking Certification from Programming Hub in June 2020, an Apple Certified Portable Technician (ACPT) certification from Apple in August 2018, an Apple Certified Support Professional 10.10 (ACTC) certification from Apple in January 2016, and a food safety certification from The City of Philadelphia in October 2013. Furthermore, they achieved the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America in September 1999.
