Sachin Maharaj

Sachin Maharaj has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sachin is currently serving as the VP Sales - Sub-Saharan Africa at Evolving Systems, a position they have held since January 2022. Previously, they worked as the VP Sales - Africa, India, and Southeast Asia at the same company, where their responsibilities included new customer acquisitions, business development, and account management. Before joining Evolving Systems, Sachin held the role of Sales Director: Sub-Saharan Africa at Business Logic Systems Ltd from July 2017 to June 2021. Sachin also worked as the Sales Director - Sub-Saharan Africa and Senior Manager CVM at the same company. Prior to that, Sachin gained experience at Vodacom as a Manager: Enterprise Customer Value Management, where they were responsible for structuring strategic and channel direction for retention initiatives. Sachin started their career at the Board of Healthcare Funders as a Research Analyst, focusing on research and industry analysis for medical aid member companies.

Sachin Maharaj completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) (Honours) degree in Finance, General from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2013. In 2021, they attended the University of Cape Town to study Blockchain and Digital Currency: The Future of Money. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Finance, General from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which spanned from 2000 to 2002.
