Markus Tuominen

Markus Tuominen is an experienced professional in mechanical engineering with a strong background in team leadership and project management. Currently serving as HW Manager and Component Project Manager at Evondos Suomi since December 2021, Markus is responsible for managing components. Previously, Markus held multiple roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific from March 2010 to October 2021, including Lead Engineer, Mechanics, where leadership of a six-person mechanics team was complemented by the introduction of agile methodologies as a Scrum master. Markus successfully managed over 100 design changes and resolved quality issues, ensuring compliance with strict documentation requirements. Early career experiences include roles as a Mechanical Designer and trainee, as well as a summer trainee at Sampo-Rosenlew Ltd. Markus holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University and a Bachelor’s degree from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
