Marko Kaikkonen

Marko Kaikkonen has worked in the software development industry since 2000. Theirwork experience includes Senior Embedded Software Designer at Teleste from 2000 to 2009, Senior Software Engineer at Cybercom Plenware Oy from 2009 to 2013, Software Architect at Askpole from 2013 to 2016, Software Developer at Fidera Ltd. from 2016 to 2019, and Lead Software Developer at Evondos Oy since 2019. At Cybercom Plenware Oy, Marko worked on an FPGA project, refactoring a speed algorithm using VHDL and a Function Generator. At Teleste, Marko was responsible for Linux SW design and implementation for FPGA UART interface, and they also implemented the SAP protocol for announcing serial data service over a local network. Marko also had experience as an FPGA designer.

Marko Kaikkonen completed their B.Sc. in Telecommunications from Turku Polytechnic between 1996 and 2000. Marko has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Software Architecture: Patterns for Developers (August 2022), Deep Learning: Getting Started (July 2022), Advanced Design Patterns: Design Principles (December 2021), Software Architecture: From Developer to Architect (September 2021), DevOps Foundations: Containers (March 2021), and DevOps Foundations: Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (February 2021).
