Rickard Holmsten

Rickard Holmsten began their career in 2013 as a Laboratory Technician at Finnsementti. Rickard then completed an Internship in Diana Toivola's research group at Åbo Akademi University in 2013, followed by a Graduate Student Researcher role in the same group from 2013-2016. In 2016, they worked as a Warehouse Operator at Arla Oy and a Laboratory Technician at Massby facility & services ltd. Rickard then took on a Quality Assurance Officer role at AstraZeneca in 2018, followed by a Production Supervisor role at Bayer. In 2019, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a QA Engineer and Test Lead, and in 2022 they began working as a System Test Engineer at Evondos Group. Throughout their career, Rickard has been responsible for tasks such as system testing, production line quality, QA-related release tasks, customer complaints, participating in audits, maintaining backlogs, planning future work, ensuring team functionality, resolving issues, writing deviation observation reports, reclamation reports, creating batches in SAP, conducting spot checks, batch documentation, and following compliance and GMP according to FDA and Eudralex regulations.

Rickard Holmsten has a Master's Degree in Biochemistry from Åbo Akademi University, which they obtained in 2016 after completing a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from the same university in 2015. Rickard also holds certifications such as the ISO 13485:2016 Internal Auditor from Labquality Oy (2021), Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Thermo Fisher Scientific (2021), PMAF Project Management Foundation Certificate from Projektiyhdistys PRY, Project Management Association Finland (2020), and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance (2022).
