Ville Saarainen

Ville Saarainen has been working in the technology industry since 2005. Ville started their career at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they held the roles of Senior R&D Manager, MBD; R&D Manager, Instrument Systems; Project Manager; and Software Designer. In this role, they were responsible for leading the Research & Development of Clinical Diagnostics Systems business unit, providing visionary leadership and managing a R&D organization of 90 people. Ville also improved product development processes to make them leaner and more agile to ensure on-time and on-budget product launches in regulatory driven IVD field. In 2020, they began working at Evondos Group as the CTO.

Ville Saarainen attended Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a M.Sc in Automation technology, Automation IT.
