Dan Thompson

Dan Thompson has a diverse work experience in the IT sector. Dan currently holds the position of Head of IT Operations at Evonetix Ltd since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Staff Engineer - IT Operations and Principal Engineer - IT Operations at the same company. Dan also served as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Evonetix Ltd from July 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Evonetix Ltd, Dan worked as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Global Graphics Software from May 2020 to July 2021. Prior to that, they were a Support Manager at Bridge Partners from November 2015 to May 2020.

Dan gained experience as a System Administrator (EMEA) and Senior IT Engineer at Videojet Technologies from 2011 to 2015. Dan also worked as a Desktop Support Technician at Jagex from May 2010 to October 2011.

Earlier in their career, Dan served as an IT Technician & Webmaster at SAWSTON VILLAGE COLLEGE from January 2008 to April 2010. Dan also worked as a Network Support Technician at Long Road Sixth Form College from January 2007 to December 2007.

Dan Thompson earned a Post Grad Diploma in Computer Science from Anglia Ruskin University, which they attended from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc (Hons) in Music Technology with Audio System Design from the University of Derby, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Dan has also obtained several certifications, including MCSA1: Windows Server 2003, MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Configuration, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, and Mimecast Gateway Technical Specialist Certification.
