Mark Garbett

Mark Garbett has over 30 years of work experience in engineering. Mark is currently employed as a Principal Engineer at Evonetix Ltd. Prior to this role, they worked as a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer at Industrial Inkjet Ltd from March 2019 to October 2019. From October 2013 to May 2018, they served as a Prototype Engineer at Xaar. Mark also had a significant tenure at Cambridge Display Technology from August 2002 to March 2013, where they worked as a Design Engineer, responsible for designing mechanical jigs and fixtures, modifying equipment in cleanroom and test lab environments, and designing lithography and evaporation masks. Before this, they held the position of Company Engineer at Romney Packaging Ltd from September 1998 to December 2002, overseeing plant and facilities maintenance and leading the relocation of the company to a new factory site. Mark's early career included a role as a Senior Design Engineer at Lawson Mardon Star from October 1990 to October 1997.

Mark Garbett completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Manchester Metropolitan University from 1986 to 1990.
