Claudia Meister

Claudia Meister is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy and product development at Evonik since January 2013, currently serving as Vice President Corporate Strategy and Head of Specialty Acrylics. Claudia has held various managerial roles, including Senior Manager of Oilfield Technology, where responsibilities included driving product portfolio and technology development for oilfield chemicals, and previously provided technical support to lubricant additives customers in Southeast Asia and Australia as Technical Service Manager. Additional experience encompasses product development in wax modifiers and leadership in R&D for VESTAKEEP PEEK as Senior Project Manager, alongside coordinating global initiatives in medical device-related projects. Prior to Evonik, Claudia worked as a Research Scientist at Philipps-Universität Marburg, focusing on the development of new antimicrobial polymers. Claudia holds a PhD in Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg, along with a Diploma in Chemistry, and obtained an Abitur from Privates Gymnasium Abtei Marienstatt.
