Francisco Cortes Baledon is an experienced professional in the field of applied research and development, particularly in industrial and transportation coatings. Currently serving as the Head of Applied Research & Development at Evonik for the Americas, Francisco has previously held positions such as Head of Applied Technology and Applied Research & Technology Manager. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Development Manager at Covestro, LA Technical Marketing Coatings Consultant at DuPont, and Auditor for Good Manufacturing Practices at TÜV Rheinland de México. Francisco started their career as a chemical engineer at Procter & Gamble. Francisco holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and is pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering at Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte.
