Madhumita Paul

Madhumita Paul, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Madhumita started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Memphis from 2011 to 2016. Madhumita then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine from 2017 to 2018, conducting clinical research on chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome. Here, they gained technical skills in cell culture, cloning, real-time RT-PCR, calcium imaging, and contraction assays. In 2018, they became a Microbiologist at Natureplex LLC. Since 2019, Madhumita has been working at Evonik, initially as a Senior Scientist and currently as a Principal Scientist. In their role at Evonik, they have been responsible for managing new projects, leading microbial investigations, and conducting qualification of microbiological tests and equipment.

Madhumita Paul, PhD, completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Biology from The University of Memphis between 2011 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Zoology from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, from 2005 to 2007.
