Jeff Bennion

Jeff Bennion has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jeff is currently the Chief Financial Officer at EVŌQ nano since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at American Research Bureau from 2020 to 2022. Before their CFO roles, Bennion worked as a Management Consultant at Cicero Group from 2019 to 2020, where they led teams in establishing an enterprise project coordination function and provided market assessment and strategic recommendations for clients.

Between 2016 and 2019, Bennion served at MetaSource in two different roles. Jeff was the Associate Vice President, Operational Excellence and Project Management Office (PMO) from 2018 to 2019 and the Senior Director, Project Management and Implementation from 2016 to 2018.

From 2013 to 2016, Bennion was the Chief Financial Officer at Persnickety Clothing Company, where they established finance and operations systems for a start-up and achieved high double-digit growth. Jeff also implemented a new ERP system during their tenure.

Before their corporate roles, Bennion worked in different roles in the military. Jeff was a Senior Project Manager at the US Army Corps of Engineers from 2010 to 2013, leading a cross-functional team in the construction of a high-security data center and completing over $400 million in contract work. Jeff also served as a Naval Officer in the US Navy from 1999 to 2006, where they trained as a Navy jet pilot, mentored Afghan military officers, and held leadership positions in construction and engineering.

Bennion also has experience as a Field Engineer at the Utah Department of Transportation, a Business Owner at Once Upon A Shelf, and a Company Commander in the US Navy Reserve.

Jeff Bennion has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Brigham Young University, obtained between 1994 and 1999. Jeff also completed an Executive MBA program at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2011 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Jeff has a Secret Clearance from the United States Department of Defense, and they have obtained the Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist (SCWS) designation from the US Navy.
