Jennifer Timm

Associate Principal Scientist at Evotec

Jennifer Timm has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific field. Jennifer began their career in 2015 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives, where they worked until the end of the year. Jennifer then moved on to the EMBL, where they served as a Postdoctoral Fellow from April 2016 to July 2017. From there, they joined the University of Massachusetts Medical School as a Postdoctoral Fellow from January 2018 to December 2019. In 2020, Jennifer became a Postdoctoral Associate at Rutgers University, where they worked until June 2023. Most recently, they joined Evotec in June 2023 as an Associate Principal Scientist.

Jennifer Timm obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological Sciences from the University of Konstanz from 2005 to 2010. Jennifer then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at the University of York from 2010 to 2014. In 2009, Jennifer also spent some time as a visiting student at Caltech, studying Structure Biology. Prior to their university education, they completed their secondary education and obtained a degree as a Chemisch-Technische Assistentin from Staatliche Berufsschule Hamburg G13 und Gymnasium Altona between 2000 and 2005.
